Lucky's Cafe in Cleveland

This past weekend Antoine and I, with Cheese in tow, drove up to Cleveland to spend the weekend with my hlp, Amanda, and her boyfriend Aaron.  Amanda and Aaron just moved into three-story duplex with a bazillion rooms on the east side of Cleveland.  In planning to come up for the weekend Antoine and I insisted that we go to Lucky's Cafe for breakfast Saturday morning.  It's another Diner's, Drive-ins and Dives spot that Antoine and I were anxious to try.  Plus, brunch is the best meal of the day!  So, we got up early, because I'm a nutso and was worried about fighting a crowd of hungry people and made our way over to Tremont.  Lucky's is a pretty small place that, in addition to serving up awesome locally produced meals (some of the ingredients come from the garden behind the restaurant) also makes delicious-looking pastries (we got a blueberry coconut scone to go and boy was it tasty!).

After seeing the Triple D episode that featured Lucky's Cafe, I knew what I wanted for breakfast.  The homemade granola with fresh fruit and yogurt, drizzled with honey.  Look how gorgeous it is!  Look at the apple, it's like a freaking sculpture.  I almost didn't want to eat it, but I was hungry, so I did.  It was fantastic.  It was supposed to come with pineapple but I asked them to keep that off, so I was worried that there wouldn't be much fruit...obviously no need to worry about that!  The granola was chewy and delicious with bits of dried fruit in it.  The honey balanced out the tang of the yogurt perfectly.  Antoine was worried that it wouldn't be enough for me, but I was totally stuffed by the time I finished it.

Antoine naturally went for the cheddar biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs (also featured on Triple D), served with hash browns and grapes.  He loved it!  In fact, he said that it was even better than Mayberry's biscuits and gravy (which was previously his favorite biscuits and gravy).   I tried a bite, then another bite, then another.  I gotta say, this is the only biscuits and gravy I've ever had that I would actually consider ordering myself.  The cheddar in the biscuits took them to a whole other level.  And the hash brown thingies were pretty fantastic, so flavorful that you didn't need any extra salt, pepper or ketchup.

Antoine and I shared a side of pecan crusted bacon...because, really, how could you pass that up!?  It was tasty!  Sweet with a little bit of smokey saltiness in the background from the bacon.

Aaron got the baked mac and cheese, and let me just say that if ordering were a competition, Aaron would have totally won!  This was beyond AMAZING!  The best mac and cheese I've ever had.  Period.  Baked to perfection with cheddar, mozzarella, brie and parmesan cheese and served with a side of homemade applesauce.  I will admit that when Aaron left the table to use the restroom, all three of us attached what was left of his mac and cheese like vultures.  It is now my goal in life to re-create this mac and cheese at home!  Challenge accepted!

Amanda got the veggie omelet with mushrooms, spinach and white cheddar, served with hash browns, fruit and banana bread.  She said later that the omelet was pretty standard, especially once she tasted Aaron's mac and cheese and my granola.  But she, like Antoine, really enjoyed the hash browns.  She also really liked the banana bread, which I tried and thought it was quite tasty.

 So pretty!

(Just outside Lucky's Cafe)  Bunch of weirdos!

I'd highly recommend Lucky's to anyone visiting the Cleveland area.  It was delicious.  And if you like mac and cheese, theirs will BLOW YOUR MIND!!  Word of warning, if you see these two weirdos (pictured above), run away...or they will make strange faces at you!

Brunch at Mayberry (part 2)

You may remember way back when I wrote a raving review of Mayberry's delicious brunch.  It quickly became one of our favorite brunches in the city.  Then, for a while, they stopped serving brunch for some reason.  Then it came back, but before we had a chance to go Mayberry moved from their downtown location near the public library to Over-the-Rhine.  So, a couple Sundays ago we invited my sister and brother-in-law to brunch, and they picked Mayberry.  Neither had ever been for brunch and it was everyone's first visit to the new location.  So, without further ado...

Mayberry's menu changes pretty often, though they keep some items on the menu permanently...like the Rosemary Biscuits and Sausage Gravy and the Tater Tot Casserole.

Sadly, one item that always used to be on the old Mayberry's brunch menu, the Elvis Killer, was not on the new Mayberry's brunch menu.    The Elvis Killer was my jam.  I loved it hardcore.  So instead I went for the French Toast with strawberries and chocolate.  It came with this buttery deliciousness all over it! YUM YUM YUM!

Antoine went for his Mayberry usual, the Rosemary Biscuits and Sausage Gravy with a poached eggs on top.  He's a biscuits and gravy kind of guy and he loves this dish.  I'm not a biscuits and sausage gravy kind of gal, but I gotta say, Mayberry's is pretty tasty.  The rosemary in the biscuits adds a nice aroma and flavor.

My sis got the BLT with Peppered Bacon, Leek Gouda Fondue and Roasted Tomato.  The second I took a bite of this my eyes rolled back and I let out a fairly loud "Mmmm!"  Delicious.

Christian got the Roasted Lamb with Mashed Potatoes.  I didn't try this, nor did anyone else at the table, because I don't like eating lamb.  But he seemed to really like it.  He also got a Bloody Mary, and he enjoyed that as well.

Ahh, Tater Tot Casserole.  It's so pretty and delicious!  This was by far the BEST Tater Tot Casserole I've had at Mayberry!  Beyond cheesy with lots of little lovely browned bits. If it was acceptable I would totally order like 10 of these for brunch, but I think people would judge me!

As far as the new location goes, it's bigger, which is a definitely plus.  They've got a nice big bar as well.  It's a definite step up (as far as size) from the last place.  I hope that they do very well in this location, I know I'll be back many, many times...stuffing my face full of tater tot casserole!

Senate

My birthday (you know, that thing that happened a month ago but I was too sick to post about it until now) fell on a Thursday this year, which meant no celebrating day of with Antoine since he was still in Phoenix.  Bummer.  But no worries, this lady didn't spend her birthday sitting at home in her pjs!  Nope, my sis and brother-in-law came to the rescue and took me out to dinner.  We decided to go to one of the new-ish places downtown that was on my list to try (you may remember #9 from my list of 27 things before 28).  I decided to go with the Senate, known for their gourmet hot dogs and duck fat fries.

Now, the Senate is one of the several trendy restaurants that have popped up on Vine St (in OTR) over the last couple years.  I've always heard really good things about it and the other surrounding restaurants (A Tavola, Taste of Belgium, etc.), but I've always worried about going.  Trendy restaurants like that have a habit of being a little intimidating to types like me, making me feel out of place, like I'm not cool enough to be there. Like I'm back in school and I'm trying to sit at the "cool table" while wearing my marching band uniform (I wasn't actually in band, just choir).  But you know, I had absolutely no reason to stress!  The second we walked in, the very friendly manager/host welcomed us and was very accommodating even though there were no tables available.  We opted to sit at the bar, and the bartenders couldn't have been nicer.  And the food, well, let's get to that...

Christian opted for some duck fat fries to start.  They were quite tasty, but not as tasty as the poutine...

The poutine.  Umm, yeah, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.  It was so very delicious!  I think I made an "mmm" sound every time I took a bite!

We all decided to go for a hot dog.

Michelle went for the Trailer Park, a hot dog wrapped in bacon, topped with american cheese, coleslaw and crushed Grippo' s BBQ chips.

I think Christian had the hot dog of the day, but unfortunately I can't remember what it was.

I got the Lindsay Lohan, yeah, that's what it's called.  An all beef hot dog with goat cheese, caramelized onions and mixed greens tossed in balsamic.  I can't say YUM loud enough.  It was insanely good and insanely messy.  When I go back I'm going to have a hard time getting something besides the poutine and the Lindsay Lohan.

Even though Michelle and I were incredibly full, we thought we really should get a dessert...since it was my birthday and all!   We chose the chocolate and bourbon bread pudding, on the recommendation of one of the bartenders.  It was super rich, almost too rich.  But it was warm and drizzled with caramel sauce, so I was a happy lady in the end.

A special thanks to my awesome sister and brother-in-law for a great birthday dinner.  They're the best!

Soup Weather

It's getting a bit chilly nowadays...well, except for that silly warm spell we had earlier this week!  WTF?  It's December, I want snow!  Not rain and 60 degree weather.  Come on! Also, it's that time of the year when people get sick (I blame the fluctuation in temperature)!  Case in point...me.  Currently I am of the "death popsicle" state where I look and sound like a walking plague of nasty germs.  But have no fear, I am a relatively self-aware walking germ...carrying my box of Puffs (with lotion) under on arm and my hand sanitizer in the other.  It's not a pretty sight, but at least I'm trying not to spread my germs to my coworkers.  Piss me off though, and I'll spit in your coffee!  Muwhahahaha!

Wait.  What was I talking about!?  Oh yeah, 'tis the season of cold weather and illness, which means it's that time of the year that lends itself beautifully to a nice big bowl of soup.  And these days, having dated a fella of Vietnamese decent for several years now, it's not surprising that my soup of choice is pho.  Pho (fyi, it's not pronounced "fo", more like "fa") is a Vietnamese soup traditionally made with beef, rice noodles, a anise infused broth and add-ins such as Thai basil, lime, bean sprouts, and hoisin sauce.  While the beef version (pho bo) is probably the most popular, my favorite is the chicken version (pho ga).  And while Antoine's mom makes a mean pot of pho ga, she doesn't make it often since it typically takes most of the day to make it.  So, when either Antoine or I are in the mood for some pho or banh mi (a Vietnamese sandwich traditionally made with grilled pork, pate, or a selection of coldcuts (read: head cheese...YUCK!  Btw, they have a chicken version as well) we hit up Pho Lang Thang, a fairly new and wildly popular Vietnamese restaurant in Findlay Market.  You've seen me blog about Pho Lang Thang before, because it's a nice local place producing, in my opinion, some pretty tasty Vietnamese food (not as good as A's mom, but still mighty tasty!).  Last Friday, Antoine picked me up from work and we headed over to Pho Lang Thang.  Lunch time and weekends can get kind of busy, but if you go around 5pm on a Friday it's really quiet...

Mmm, I love Vietnamese ice coffee!  I mean, how could you not...it's got sweetened condensed milk in it!  YUM!

Handsome.

Two Years & Tea Time (Two Posts in One)

Today, this very Friday, marks the two year anniversary of this little blog!  Yippee!  Aren't you proud of me for actually sticking with something for two whole years!  Well, even if you're not proud of me, I'm pretty flippin' proud of myself!  It's been good times!  And I just want to say thanks to those of you who actually read this.  In the beginning Antoine was my only consistent reader, but I think I've scrounged up a few more followers along the way...and I just want to thank you, from the very bottom of my heart, for having any interest whatsoever in what I put up on here!

Now, enough mushy stuff, let's talk about tea.  This past weekend, my lovely red-headed, extremely personable sister kindly invited Antoine and I to high tea at her tea house.  Last weekend's tea was, sadly, the third to last tea ever.  That means that next weekend will be the end.  Oh, how I'm going to miss that place.  But I'm glad I get to be there to cheer her on in all her success and be there with her for her very last tea.  Oh no!  It's getting mushy again!!!  Ack!  Stopping mushiness NOW!!

Moving on, here's a couple of pictures I took during last weekend's tea:

Isn't she adorable!  It was the Thanksgiving tea, so she dressed up like a pretty little pilgrim.

Hot raspberry scone with sweet creme fraiche = food porn
I had one of my new favorite teas, Genmai Cha.  It's a Japanese green tea with toasted, popped rice in it.

Look!  Like little baby popcorn kernals!  It's sounds weird, I know, but it tastes like Golden Crisp or Honey Smacks cereal when you put sugar in it!!  Yum!

Mmm, my favorite thing of the day...salted pumpkin caramels.  Michelle made these little beauties using her regular caramel recipe (which is awesome!) and gave them a twist by adding pumpkin, pepita seeds, and fancy french salt on top!  Delicious!

I can't wait for next weekend's tea, it's going to be awesome!  Awesome and sad.  But don't worry, I'll make sure to document it!

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

I've made it clear that when it comes to gelato Dojo has my heart.  I've got the warm n' fuzzies for that place super bad.  Not only because they made me a gelato believer (every gelato I had had prior did not impress), but they crank out deliciously creative concoctions with some major local flair. Plus, it's one of those places that reminds me of dating Antoine.  I remember the first time he brought me a pint of Dojo gelato, it was such a sweet moment...we had just started dating, we were getting pretty serious and he was always surprising me with things like that.

Anyway, where was I!?  As far as gelato goes, Dojo is it for me.  But when it comes to ice cream I tend not to pick favorites.  All ice cream is different to me, each has it's own texture, taste and special place in my belly.  I cannot compare soft serve from Hold the Nuts to Dairy Queen (nostalgia central), Young's Dairy to Graeter's.  They're all so different and wonderful in their own way.  So, naturally, I am never opposed to trying out a new ice cream place when someone recommends one.  [Seriously, I think I need an ice cream related tattoo...I've got a major addiction going on here!]  So, when several people recommended Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams to Antoine and I, we just had to check it out for ourselves.  Unfortunately, we don't often find ourselves in Columbus, where Jeni's is headquartered.  And while Jeni's is sold in several local stores...I'd much rather get the whole experience, especially for the first time around.  But leave it to Antoine to come up with a genius idea...he hunted down and found a Jeni's shop on the way back home from our recent trip to Cleveland and it only meant a very small detour off of 71.  My sis was with us, and seeing as how this love of ice cream runs in the family, she was happy with the little detour.

I was blown away by the selection.  There were three freezer cases and each had about 8 unique and interesting flavors in it!  It was a tad overwhelming...and that's coming from me, someone who's generally pretty good about making quick decisions.  I felt bad for my poor sister, she's not so good at the decision making!

One of the really awesome parts about Jeni's is they're all about you trying as many flavors as you like!  And I think we probably tried about half of them!  The only thing I didn't like about the sampling was that they used little plastic spoons, instead of little metal, reusable spoons like Dojo does.  It makes me, as a consumer, feel a little bit better about trying as many flavors as I want.

For me, the second I tried the Brown Butter Almond Brittle I knew exactly what I wanted!  It was creamy and buttery and nutty.  Awesome.  For my second flavor I got the Black Coffee which was rich and bold but not too overwhelmning.

Antoine went for the Salty Caramel (good, but I like Dojo's Sea Salted Caramel better) and the Brown Butter Almond Brittle.

My adorable sis went ordered (from top to bottom): Gravel Road, Whiskey & Pecans, and Brambleberry Crisp (her fav of the three).

Then after we finished out delicious ice cream, they even let us try a couple more flavors, now that the line had disappeared.  The Riesling Poached Pear sorbet was particularly good, as was the Smoked Tea & Plum Pudding.

As far as fancy, unique ice cream flavors go, Jeni's is pretty awesome.  I like the variety, although not all of them hit it out of the park for me.  For instance, the Frankencense & Almond Cake tasted like an air freshener to me, and the Cumin & Honey Butterscotch was a little too much like putting a teaspoon of Cumin in my mouth.  But the rest of the flavors that we tried were fantastic, and it'd highly recommend trying Jeni's out sometime, if you haven't already.  It's certainly fun tasting all those flavors, and you might be surprised by which blow your mind and which don't!

Melt Bar & Grilled

*Warning* Do NOT read this post on an empty stomach!  You will regret it, trust me!  Unless you live near Cleveland, then you'll know where you're eating for lunch/dinner!

I don't know about you, but I grew up on grilled cheese.  It's easy to make, delicious, and tomato soup's best friend.  In fact, I loved grilled cheese so much when I was growing up that that's practically all I would order when I went to a restaurant.  I was a bit picky back then, to say the least.  As my sister terms it, I "only ate beige food"...grilled cheese, mozzerella sticks, cheese pizza, french fries and chicken fingers.  Yeah, that's pretty much all I would eat.  But then I hit High School and I started branching out a bit.  I still consider myself a tad picky, but I enjoy trying new things.

But, I gotta say, I still have a soft spot in my heart for grilled cheese.  So, when I heard a couple years ago about this place called Melt Bar & Grilled that served up killer creative gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches I was immediately salivating.  Only downside, it's in Cleveland.  And even though my parents live in northern Ohio, Cleveland is kind of out of the way.  Then, my one and only HLP moved there in June and I told her, "Fine, you move 4+ hours away from me, but we HAVE TO go to Melt when I come to visit!"  And since then we've gone every single time I've come up to visit her...it's that good!  So, I thought it was about time that Melt got it's own post, so let me take you on a magical journey through cheesy awesome deliciousness!  Think of me as your grilled cheese tour guide, your chubby Willy Wonka, if you will.  "Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination..."

Awesome thing #1 about Melt Bar & Grilled: it's vegetarian and vegan friendly, which means they pretty much have something for everyone!  Including my HLP who is vegetarian but still eats fish and my brother-in-law who is lactose intolerant (vegan cheese).  Now, the first time I went I tried creating my own custom sandwich.  Normally, that's my thing.  But here, I advise that you try out one of their delicious creations...because every single one I've had was ridiculously good!  Seriously, these people know their fancy grilled cheese!

Well hello Ultimate Fries, completely with cheese, grilled peppers and onions, veggie chili and sour cream.  Oh my sweet fried god, these are awesome!  Seriously the best chili cheese fries I've ever had, and the best veggie chili I've ever had!  But, word of warning, this dish is enormous!  We had 6 people sharing them and that was perfect...but still, no one finished their grilled cheese, but no one ever does!

My sis and I decided to share two grilled cheese sandwiches, it's what we like to do so we can try more things!  Pictured above is the Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana: fresh made peanut butter, caramelized bananas, sweet cream cheese and mixed preserves for dipped!  YUM!  The cream cheese in there blew my flippin' mind!  So good!

Since we started off with Ulimate Fries I followed in my HLPs footsteps and subbed broccoli as my side, instead of fries.  The broccoli was really good, cooked prefectly (still a slight crunch to it).  Although, I gotta say their hand cut fries are AWESOME!  And they re-heat really well, unlike most fries, if you can't finish them.

For our other sandwich to share, Michelle and I ordered my personal favorite the Parmageddon; a grilled cheese sandwich with two potato and cheese pierogi, fresh napa vodka kraut, grilled onions and sharp cheddar.  I love this sandwich...and I don't even care for sour kraut usually, but theirs it fresh made and it's awesome!  This sandwich was the one featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives...and for good reason!

I mean, look at that!  Come on!!!

Here's another awesome thing about Melt, the prices are so reasonable for the amount of food you get.  Two people could easily go in there, share a sandwich and maybe a dessert, be completely stuffed and spend well under $20, with tip and everything!  I have never gone there and finished my whole meal...NEVER!  I usually can manage about half my fries and half my sandwich...and that's without an appetizer.

And best part is, it's awesome reheated.  This time around, I finished my half of the Grilled PB & Banana, because I figured it would not hold up to reheating well, then I ate about 2 or 3 pieces of broccoli...the next day I had an amazing lunch, half a Parmageddon and some broccoli.  Here's a tip for leftovers, preheat your oven to 400 degrees, put your sandwich on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.  I've found it works best if you separate the top and bottom of your sandwich so that the bread is on the cookie sheet and the insides of the sandwich are facing up.  Cook the sandwich and fries (straight out of the fridge) for about 10 to 15 minutes.  The cheese will get all melty and the bread will crisp up again...even if it was a little soggy.  Yum!

If you happen to be in Cleveland for a visit, don't deny yourself the awesomeness of Melt Bar & Grilled.  Check out one of their three wonderfully eccentric locations.  And try to get there early!  The word is out and the wait can get super long.  I advise going early (when they just open) or going late!  Also, for all you beer lovers, they've got a stellar selection and you can always grab a seat at the bar if there's a long wait.

A Recipe: Easy Peasy Cheddar Drop Biscuits

It's no secret that I love cheese.  Well, unless you've been living under a rock or you are a complete stranger, which if that's the case...Hello complete stranger person!  Welcome.  I love cheese.  In almost any and every form.

There, now you've been officially caught up.  So, cheese.  And my love for it.  Let's explore, shall we!?  First, exhibit A:

I named my dog Cheese!  It suits him because he's awesome and cheese is awesome!  And because he's kind of cheesy!

Then there's the fact that cheese fries (more specifically, Pleasant Ridge Chili's cheese fries) are one of my favorite foods EVER!  And definitely would be part of my last meal if I were on death row.  Not that I plan on that anytime soon.

[Also, don't judge me, but once I posted that picture I had a strong urge to lick my computer screen.  But I resisted! You should be proud of me...I am!]

Yeah, cheese and me, we've got a thing going!  So, when Antoine made chili this past weekend I pondered what I should make to go with it.  Cornbread seemed too boring (...because it has no cheese in it).  I turned to Tasty Kitchen, as I usually do in times of recipe needs, and BOOM....Nancy's Easy Drop Cheese Biscuits.  They sounded so super easy and required everything I already had in my kitchen.  I made some minor modifications and in the blink of an eye (sniff of the nose?) I was smelling the loveliness of warm melted cheese wafting through our house.

They went phenomenally well with the chili.  Since we like our chili with no spice/heat and on the tomatoey side...the cheddar biscuits added the perfect savory balance to Antoine's turkey chili!

Easy Cheddar Drop Biscuits

2 cups of flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of milk
1 1/2 cup of shredded cheese (or more!  I used half sharp cheddar and half white cheddar)
1-2 teaspoons of parsley
1 teaspoon of minced garlic or garlic powder

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Mix flour, baking powder and salt together.  Then add mix, stir until combined.  Then add cheese, parsley and garlic (or whatever else you want), and stir.

Drop spoonfuls of batter onto a greased cookie sheet (I use a cookie sheet lined with a silpat nonstick baking mat).  Cook for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.

Seriously, it's that easy!!  And the biscuits turned out fantastically!  I think what I like best about them is that they are infinitely adaptable.  You could add a meat to them, like bacon or ham, or you could experiment with different types of cheese.  Imagine goat cheese...holy hell, that would be good!!

Tacos Anyone?!

After our rather disappointing trip to the Museum Center, Antoine and I decided to go to a place that never seems to disappoint, Findlay Market.  Weekends at Findlay are bustling and there's always something to try or buy (like mammoth whoopie pies, for example).  We were both feeling a little peckish post museum and we knew exactly where we wanted to go for lunch, Mama Lo Hizo.

A couple weeks ago Antoine had brought me lunch while I was at work.  At the time I was craving a Vietneamese noodle dish from Pho Lang Thang.  But Antoine decided to get his lunch from Mama Lo Hizo, which opened up in Findlay at the end of the summer, but we hadn't tried yet.  It specializes in tacos and burritos...think a local version of Chipotle, where you customize your meal to your liking.  So, when Antoine brought me my lunch and we sat down to eat I surveyed his lunch: two tacos and a some chips and queso blanco.  Now, I'm not known for being a huge fan of Mexican food.  I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy things and Mexican tends to be a spicy cuisine.  But if you're in the mood for Mexican food and you want me to go with you all you have to say to me are two words: "queso blanco".  And I'm sold!  Like I'm running out the door while trying not to slip in my own saliva!  (Gross, I know!)  I'm sorry, but a bowl of melty delicious cheese that you dip chips in...YES PLEASE!  Sign me up!  So, I was sitting there with Antoine, eating my delicious noodles with lemongrass chicken staring down that bowl of queso blanco like it was the last bowl of melted cheese on the planet.  And Antoine, being the wonderful sharing fella that he is let me try it...and YUM!  It was delicious!  Probably one of the best queso blancos I've ever had.

So, when I couple of weeks later Antoine and my stomachs were growling we knew only one thing at Findlay could satisfy them in just the perfect way, queso blanco from Mama Lo Hizo.  So, we got to Findlay and stood in line at Mama's.  And since our stomachs were practically talking for us at this point, we each got two tacos and an order of chips and queso to share.  And a Mexican Coke.  We were hungry.  And it was good...

Chips, queso blanco, and a Coke.

One of my tacos: steak, lettuce, cheese, and corn salsa.  The corn salsa is particularly sweet here, which A and I both really liked.  Also, we both enjoyed how cold the condiments are in comparison to the meat and torilla...it's very refreshing.

My other taco: ground beef, lettuce, cheese and pico de gallo.  The ground beef was definitely my favorite, it had great flavor to it, yet wasn't spicy or overwhelming.  I also tried a bite of Antoine's chicken taco which was seasoned nicely as well.

Oh queso blanco, you're so pretty and delicious!

Antoine trying to scrape up every last bit of queso! Oh Antoine, you're so adorable!

I highly recommend checking out Mama Lo Hizo next time you're in the mood for lunch at Findlay.  Really, it doesn't get much better than having lunch at Findlay market.  Next time I go I'm definitely going to try one of their churros, they looked awesome!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  A and I are on our way to the Cleveland area today for a wedding of a long time friend of mine.  Then tomorrow we've got some fun activities planned with my cousin and my HLP!  Yay!
